The Family's Trip to Bohol
It was our 35th wedding anniversary last January 27 and our children gave us a special gift for this very special day. The gift was a trip to the land of chocolate hills and tarsiers -- Bohol. Our children chipped in for our expenses but the biggest expense went to our second child, who, although unemployed, has a very supportive husband who paid for our plane tickets, hotel accommodation, and subsistence for the 3 days 2 nights stay in Bohol.
Our Bohol visit was a very memorable one since we were toured to the famous chocolate hills which are not colored chocolate when we were there because of the intermittent rain that visits the place. We visited the tarsiers, bee farm and organic vegetation, Loboc River cruise while having buffet lunch, the hanging bridge, Baclayon Church and the manmade forest along the way to the chocolate hills. Of course we have pictures but my digi-cam was brought to school (later I will post the pics).
Our other children (all working) did not join us but contributed for our pocket money. We wish to have many more wedding anniversaries to come. Fifteen more anniversaries for us and we will be celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. We will be both 75 years old by then.
